The Joel Ménard Award in basic research on Alzheimer’s Disease was received by Dr Elsa Suberbielle. This award highlights her contribution to understanding the mechanisms of neuronal dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases.
Pr Judes Poirier from Douglas mental health institute at McGill University(Ca) awarded the price to Elsa Suberbielle during a ceremony held in Paris to honor the Youth Science of Fondation Alzheimer.
Dr Suberbielle’s ongoing studies focus on the role of epigenetic mechanisms in triggering neuronal dysfunction in Alzheimer’s Disease and other brain diseases, and is part of the team 7 at the CPTP.
