During its 5th national congress which was held from October 19 to 21, 2022, in Paris, the French Society of Extracellular vesicles awarded its 2022 Thesis Prize to Mathilde Bergamelli, who carried out her PhD thesis in team 7 of Infinity, under the supervision of Dr Cécile Malnou.

Her researches focused on congenital infection with human cytomegalovirus and the impact of this infection on the composition and function of placental extracellular vesicles. They gave rise to two publications which can be consulted here:
