It is with great sadness that we inform you of the sudden death of Paola Romagnoli, on August 20th 2018, during a tragic hike in the Raganello Gorge in Italy.
Director of research at the CNRS, Deputy Director of the Center, unanimously recognized for her integrity and scientific qualities, Paola was particularly appreciated by all for her kindness and generosity.
Our thoughts turn to her husband and our colleague, Joost van Meerwijk, their children, her family and loved ones.
